SnakeButt

Page history last edited by PBworks 4 years, 10 months ago

You know the game as "Asshole" or "Presidents and Assholes". This is just a list of the official SnakeButt rules.

  • NO doubles can be played on top of singles, trips on doubles, etc. When singles are being played, only singles until the table is cleared (one exception - quick social - see below)
  • 2 Jokers in the deck clear the table immediately, not even the other joker can stop it.
  • 2's are higher than aces, but nothing more, a 2 does not clear the table. if trips are being played, you still need trip 2's to play.
  • snake-butt and snake-gutts HAVE to send their highest card(s), even if it means they have to break up pairs, snake-eyes and snake-tongue can send anything they want.
  • when a player goes out, the table is immediately cleared and the next person in line to play starts a new round.
  • when 4 of the same card are all next to each other on the table, this is a social, everyone drinks.
  • the snakebutt must clear the cards anytime a round is over, the snakebutt deals, and the snakebutt starts play
  • snakebutt has the ability to make anyone drink during shuffling and dealing of the cards
  • if you win snake-eyes 3 times in a row, you get to make a rule
  • quick social - if a single 10 (any card, 10 is just my example) is played, a person can play 3 10's on top of it to complete the social. it does not have to be your turn to play next, but you have to be quick enough to get your cards down on the table first. If you don't, they you can't play them. If you do complete the quick social, everyone drinks and play continues to the left of the person who completed the quick social so several players may get skipped. this works as well to play a pair of 10's on a pair of tens. or if a single 10 is played on top of a single 10, the pair can be played. a singleton can even be played on trips.
